We perform plasma, dual wire arc, fuel wire, 5P and 6P thermal spray processes only.

2. What coating materials do you apply?

Aluminum, iron, steel, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, yttrium, chromium, molybdenum, tin, tungsten and the alloys of these materials. Metals can be sprayed up to .100” thick.  Ceramics can also be sprayed, usually to a max of .020 thick. Aluminum oxides, chromium oxides and zirconium oxide as well as many others are within our capabilities.

3. Why choose thermal spray over replacing a part?

A repaired part can have a more desirable surface than the original base material had. Improved wear, heat, corrosion resistance. It is commonly used to re-size parts worn out of tolerance, various sprayed coatings can be used to restore dimensions by machining to an original size or to a special size.

4. Do you hold (or work to) aerospace/FAA repair standards?

Yes, show the various documents. FAA certificate, drug program cert, A&P and repairman certificates, BAAQA, (leave out AS9110).

From .001 to .100” with various metal sprays, .001 to .020 with ceramics.

6. How big of a part can you handle?

Largest lathe 19” x 18’long, grinding 19” diameter x 50” in length. No real limit on spray size.

7. What surface finishes can you deliver?

8. How are parts prepared and masked?
